Bleak Music: Photographs and Poems of the American Southwest by Blue Horse Press of Redondo Beach, CA (publisher of the San Pedro River Review).

The book is comprised of twenty of my poems paired with the brilliant and colorful photographs of Jeffrey C. Alfier whose poetry and photography I have long admired.  The settings range from far West Texas to the deserts of southern California.

Boiling It Down: the Electronic Chapbooks of Larry D. Thomas is a collection of all fifteen of my electronic chapbooks.  Here is the book’s listing at Amazon:

Although the publisher is Blue Horse Press, it is available for order only at Amazon.

I am pleased to announce the publication of my new poetry collection, In a Field of Cotton: Mississippi River Delta Poems, by Blue Horse Press.  My poems are beautifully illustrated by eleven photographs taken by master photographer/poet Jeff Alfier.  The book is available for purchase at Amazon.com:  https://www.amazon.com/dp/0578466201/ref=sr_1_6

Inasmuch as the first three of my eleven full-length poetry collections were largely set in West Texas where I was born and reared, my poetry became associated by many of my readers with the landscapes and people of West Texas and the Trans-Pecos region of the state.  Although eleven of my print books, however, contain poems inspired by the Mississippi River Delta, In a Field of Cotton is my first poetry collection dedicated entirely to the Delta region and culture to which I am vitally connected in spirit, emotion and by bloodline.
